Philanthropy is at the heart of Stonewall’s community. We work to build community, connecting our members with each other in safe spaces and with those in need in the DC metropolitan area. Through these experiences we promote collective growth and solidarity to bring about meaningful change.

2025 Philanthropy Year in Review

In 2025, our community reached new heights in service and giving. Together, we supported the missions of 65 nonprofit organizations across the DMV, strengthening causes that align with our values and investing directly in the communities we serve.

This year also marked a milestone in hands-on impact. Our members broke our own volunteering record, contributing more time, energy, and care than ever before to support our nonprofit partners on the ground.

In addition to service, we amplified our impact through giving—donating more than $120,000 to organizations doing critical work throughout the region. These contributions, combined with our volunteer efforts, reflect the power of a united community committed to making a difference.

We are deeply grateful to our nonprofit partners, volunteers, donors, and members who made this year possible. 2025 demonstrated what can happen when community comes together with purpose—and we’re excited to build on this momentum in the year ahead.
